Repeat Offender Prevention Program (ROPP)
The Kern County Probation Department's Repeat Offender Prevention Program (ROPP) is a collaborative effort between the departments of Probation, Mental Health, Human Services, Public Health, the schools, and other public entities. This program provides early intervention services to delinquent minors identified as being at risk for continued involvement in the juvenile justice system. An array of referral services are provided to the minor and family to establish positive and continuing effects of this wrap-around model of changing behaviors and delinquent patterns in the minors served by the program.
