The Adult Services Bureau consists of three divisions: Adult Court Services, AB 109 Services, and Adult Probation Services. Adult Court Services provides investigation and pre-trial services to the Court. AB 109 Services is responsible for the supervision of offenders placed on Post Release Community Supervision and Mandatory Supervision. Additionally, the Adult Programs & Supports Unit, which provides rehabilitative services to all eligible adult offenders, is housed under AB 109 Services. Adult Probation Services is tasked with supervising offenders who are placed on felony probation and oversees the department’s K9 program.
Officers assigned to the three divisions work diligently ensuring offenders are held accountable for their criminal decisions and actions while on supervision as well as providing them with the opportunity to become law-abiding and productive community members by employing various supervision strategies and referring them to appropriate rehabilitative programs.
