Sundays: Visits will be limited to parents and guardians, 2:00–4:00 p.m..
ALL VISITORS MUST POSSESS PHOTO ID.
Due to limited visiting space, no more than two visitors will be allowed to go to the unit. If the situation dictates, special visit arrangements may be made through Crossroads Administration and youth’s assigned Probation Officer.
Saturdays: 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Probation Officer approval is required prior to the first visit. The child’s guardian must remain on facility grounds for the duration of the visit.
Sundays:
A, B & C 12:30-1:30 p.m.
D, E, & F -1:30-2:30 p.m
These meetings are designed to answer parent questions, give feedback, and provide parents with alternative methods of dealing with delinquent behavior. Parents are strongly encouraged to attend the meetings and take an active/supportive role in the future success of their child.
Ward Picnics: (8 & 16 week)
Sundays: 11:15 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
After a youth successfully completes 8 & 16 weeks in the Kern Crossroads Facility Program, he is “ELIGIBLE” for a picnic with his parents and grandparents.
Visitor’s Dress Code:
All visitors shall abide by the following guidelines while visiting in the institution. Persons who fail to abide by the dress code will not be allowed entrance into the facility or may have their visit canceled upon discovery of the violation. It shall be at the discretion of the Duty Supervisor to determine the appropriateness of any attire not specifically prohibited in this policy.
